- Not specifically German as it is used in most European countries though
- how much it is changes from country to country.. Ie: in the UK it is
- 17.5% They mentioned it with the MSRP just to have the tax included with
- the final suggested retail price... maybe has something to do with those
- "why do dumb Europeans buy Amiga?" posts! :)

- True... I figured I do it the way I mentioned as as of right now we
- wouldn't be able to buy a new Amiga locally anyways.
-

- True.. I saw some news from Petro Tyschtshenko mentioned in the March CU
- Amiga that he talked about at the World Of Amiga in Toronto which
- mentioned Amiga Technologies had planned a re-launch into North America
- with the "A1200+" - no mention of the A1200 and/or A1200 Surfer Pack -
- they are better off releasing a "Surf Pack" (as the author of the article
- called it) into North America with the new A1300 or whatever then
- bringing the old A1200 here again - though that will drive the price of
- the A1300 up even more (I assume it is going to be a bit more anyways
- with the addition of a CD-ROM drive, slots and a new case making it
- not really lowend anymore.
-
- I wonder if they will have to stick with "Surf Pack" instead of "Surfer
- Pack" to keep Brother Inc. (or whatever that US PC company is) from suing
- them seeing as Brother has released a "Surfer Pack" for PCs in NA first.
- Still not bad, but I just think Surfer Pack sounds a bit better.
